Yay!!!!!!!!!!! So you're American and what other nationality?

Born and raised American, and 50% ethnically Persian. All this paperwork and such is what's required for me to gain entrance into Iran - so I can finally see my grandparents again, and see where my dad grew up.

Next step: becoming trilingual! Bwwahahahaa!

What language are you trying for now? (And, what language do you speak besides English? Assuming you speak English and you don't have someone translating for you. )

English is my first language, so I'm fluent (and proper) with my English skills.

I have comprehensive Spanish, in that I have near-flawless skills in the present tense, and fair skills with past tense. My main problem with Spanish is that I remember grammar but I've forgotten vocabulary. Once I get a vocab boost, I should be passable.

I grew up with Farsi, but no one bothered to teach me how to speak it. The language is very familiar to me and I know a little, but I need to learn more. I find I pick it up very quickly - likely because of all the exposure I've had. I'm currently attempting to learn enough to be understood in conversational situations.

And if I master all of THAT... German's next! Woo!
